It follows sixteen men, all named Frank except for one, Pekka, who seek a better life in the district of Eira, escaping perceived oppression in Helsinki's Kallio. Despite the short distance between the districts, their journey becomes epic as they face obstacles such as marriage, work, and death, symbolizing the struggles of humanity within a dehumanizing system.
